Scanning to mailbox via the Staffroom printer

We have set up a system that will allow you to scan documents directly to your email address via the staffroom printer's scanner function. This provides a number of advantages over using the previous 'scan to folder' method as it eliminates the need to browse through various shared folders, and it means that the scans can be easily viewable when off site.


1: On the main printer menu, select the 'Scan/Fax' function.





2: Select the 'Address book' function. This will take you to a list of email addresses





3: Select the paper size. In this example we will be scanning the item in the A4 format.





4: Press the blue 'enter' button to scan.





5: The printer will now send the scanned item to your email address





6: An email will appear from scanner@heatherbrook.leicester.sch.uk containing a PDF attachment of the scanned item. This can be opened through your web browser.
