How to setup Outlook emails

Firstly, click on the Outlook icon on the bottom of the taskbar.

Next, enter your email address, which is your username followed by @lancaster.leicester.sch.uk

Select Office 365 from the options available.

 
Next, it will ask you to accept the Terms and Conditions.

Finally, the Outlook app will load and open. As this is the first-time logging into Outlook on this computer, it will take a while to download all of you emails from different folders.

 This is indicated by the bar at the bottom right of the Outlook window. This tells you what folders it is updating and will display “All up to date” when finished.

 Your inbox should load the most recent emails straight away, however if you need to access your emails urgently whilst Outlook is updating, you can use the online version of outlook by clicking on the Office 365 desktop icon, and signing in through there.
